A master of his craft.

Since 2011, Dr. Rostenberg has built something increasingly rare: a clinic where the same doctor sees you every visit, knows your full history, and has the time and expertise to think carefully about your case.

As one of the leading functional medicine practitioners in Boise, Idaho, he works at the intersection of chiropractic care, methylation genetics, and applied kinesiology, addressing the structural, biochemical, and genetic dimensions of health that most practitioners treat separately, if at all.

His nationally recognized work in MTHFR evaluation has shaped how hundreds of clinicians approach chronic illness. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University. In the clinic, that expertise is always in service of one thing: you.

I slept all the time, always had stomach pain, was weak and shaky and had no energy to take care of my kids. He diagnosed me and set me up on a regimen of supplements to help my body repair itself. Since that first appointment I have gained energy, stamina, I am no longer shaky — and I've been able to go back to an activity that I love, Irish dance.

Since 2011, Dr. Rostenberg has been an invaluable part of my journey to maintain peak physical condition. His expertise in applied kinesiology and integrative medicine has allowed me to not only recover from injuries sustained during my pro athlete days but also to continue performing at my best as I age.

Our 17-year-old son started struggling with obsessive thoughts that were debilitating. Instead of diagnosing him with OCD, Dr. Rostenberg took a different approach. We left his office with hope and a game plan. After one week our son was 90% better. Within three weeks he was himself again.

After about 5 years of being sick from several intestinal disorders, I found Red Mountain Clinic on YouTube. I traveled all the way from the Dominican Republic to Boise, Idaho. After seeing the doctor for four days I started feeling much better. I'm very happy I made the decision to visit Red Mountain Clinic.

About Red Mountain

About the practice.

The clinic carries Dr. Rostenberg's family name. Rost (rust) + Berg (mountain) — Red Mountain, in plain English.

It's a deliberate combination most clinics can't offer: serious credentials paired with the time, attention, and continuity of a small practice.

Serving the Entire Treasure Valley

Red Mountain Natural Medicine is based in Boise and welcomes patients from across the Treasure Valley — including Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Caldwell, Garden City, Kuna, Star, Middleton, and Emmett. Telehealth is available for patients outside the area.

The art of it.

The tools matter — applied kinesiology, methylation testing, functional labs, hands-on chiropractic. But the tools are instruments, and it's all about how they are played.

Dr. Rostenberg listens, examines, reads the labs, watches how the body responds when he tests it. And somewhere in the first visit, a picture forms — and a plan with it.

Difficult to explain. That's the art of it.

Better.

It's a simple word. It's also the whole job.

Sleeping better. Eating better. Digesting better. Detoxing better. Metabolizing better. The body's basic functions improve, and almost everything else follows — whatever your starting point.

Someone who is sick gets less sick. An athlete finds the edge to break a personal record. A child grows into the best stretch of their life. People in cancer treatment tolerate it better. Women move through the stages of fertility and beyond, embracing their bodies instead of fighting them. Older adults age well.

We don't stop life from happening to the human body. We just make it better.
